Prior to installing our chopper, we just threw the straps into the bin . That has been like that for years and wy would we have to change this ??
With the arrival of our chopper, there were no more metal parts in our bin and we needed no longer to pay money per kilo to get rid of our waste . We than went on search for a company that would use our waste for combustion to make energy. No need to say that is a pure win - win situation for both ourselves and for the environment in total because every kilo of biological mass = 1/2 liter less of fuel.
If our chopper would break down, we wouldn't hesitate a minute to get another one.

Before purchase a use of our first SWEED chopper, we had to dump a full container of plastic banding each month. Now we have converted to reduction of our volume and we need to load a truck only once a year, which is sold to the recycling industry. Not only the difference between paying and obtaining makes out a large difference to us, each year there are 11 trucks less to be loaded and paid for in order to get rid of our waste. Today we are using 4 choppers.

Since we are using our model 450 WM XHD DD chopper, we no longer pay to get rid of our PET scrap. Its the recycling industry that pays us money for this valuable product. Also its a good technique for nature because tis volume of PET doe no longer have to be burned .
